Dear CFC,
Some may be asking why God would send Willie to the island of Leyte if He knew that the typhoon would be hitting right where He sent him. That really is the point, God sent Willie ahead of time to get people saved and be there to help people recover from such massive devastation. He is in the right place at the right time.
CFC, that also means that God knew that He could count on us to help with this massive devastation. As of today, THANKS TO YOUR GENEROUS GIVING AT THE WORLD MISSIONS CONFERENCE, we have been able to send Willie $17,000.00 to help these very unfortunate people. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Let me share some more exciting news. Our missions giving has now gone over $170,000.00 and monies are still coming in, so great!! ADDITIONALLY, JAN AND INGER HANVOLD WENT ON THE AIR SUNDAY NIGHT AND SHARED THE NEED WITH THE NORWEGIAN VIEWING AUDIENCE. IN NO TIME AT ALL, THEY RESPONDED WITH $50,000.00 IN PLEDGES TO HELP WILLIE HELP THE PEOPLE OF LEYTE!!! Wow, what a mighty God we serve.
Lastly, don't miss Sunday morning as we will be sharing pictures and a video from Willie thanking CFC for our help during this very important time in the Philippine Islands. Thanks, again, CFC for being such a great church.
